Privacy and cookies

This is a starting template. Have it reviewed before you publish — the operator of the site is the data controller, and the details below have to match what your site actually does.

Who is responsible

Cece Consulting Group ApS, Denmark. Email: cawikstrom (a) gmail.com.

What the site itself stores

The eclipse pages are static and set no cookies of their own. If you change the observer location in the 3D simulator, that choice stays in your browser and is not transmitted. Eclipse calculations run entirely on your device; no location you enter is sent anywhere.

Advertising

This site shows advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies or read device identifiers to serve and measure ads. Where required, this happens only after you consent through the consent banner, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the link in the footer.

Google's own explanation of how it uses data from sites that use its services is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can review and adjust ad personalisation at My Ad Center.

Analytics

None. This site uses no analytics or measurement tool — no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no first-party tracking. Visits are not counted, and no profile of you is built by the operator. Aside from the advertising described above, the only data leaving your browser is what your browser must send to fetch the page itself.

Legal basis and your rights

Non-essential cookies and personalised advertising are used on the basis of your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also complain to your national supervisory authority — in Denmark, Datatilsynet.

Retention

The operator keeps no database, no user accounts and no logs of its own. The site is static files served by the hosting provider, Simply.com A/S, which records ordinary server access logs containing IP addresses as part of running the server. Those logs are retained for 1 year and are not used by the operator for analysis or profiling.

Data that Google processes for advertising is retained under Google's own policies, not the operator's; see the Advertising section above for the relevant links.
